Sustainable Campus Transportation Toolkit

VTCCC’s Sustainable Campus Transportation Toolkit was completed February 2016 and provides Vermont higher education institutions with a set of strategies, case studies, and supporting information that may be utilized to improve the sustainability of campus transportation systems. It highlights alternative and renewable vehicle fuels, methods of transportation demand management, fuel-economy improvements, and idle-reduction efforts. It also offers a guide for Vermont colleges, universities, and institutions to refer to when writing their own sustainable transportation action plans. These resources can be used by fleet managers, commuters, and sustainability coordinators, along with many others, so please utilize this toolkit for any fleet optimization efforts you may be undertaking!
