Overview

Natural gas is an odorless, gaseous mixture of hydrocarbons—predominantly made up of methane (CH4). Whether produced via conventional or renewable methods, this clean-burning alternative fuel must be compressed or liquefied for use in vehicles. Generally speaking, natural gas is less expensive and more stable than diesel or petroleum, making NGVs particularly attractive to fleets that consume high amounts of fuel.
